D'Andrah Almanzar, LMSW
D'Andrah Almanzar, LMSW (she/her) is a Social Worker and Psychotherapist specializing in Trauma, Grief, Women’s/LGBTQ+ Issues, Chronic Illnesses and Anxiety/Depression. In therapy, D’Andrah utilizes a holistic and somatic approach such as breathwork and mindfulness along evidence-based modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Additionally, D’Andrah utilizes a client-centered model to provide support and guidance and what the person is in need for in a relational and empowering space.
D’Andrah received her Bachelors in Forensic Psychology with a minor in Addiction Studies from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice and holds a Master's in Social Work from Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service.
