Taína Galarza, LMSW

You’ve already taken a brave step by being here. Change—especially the kind that asks us to look inward—can feel overwhelming, but it’s also where real transformation begins. My approach as a therapist is grounded in the belief that healing starts with understanding, curiosity, and compassion for ourselves.

As a Licensed Social Worker, I integrate Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you identify what truly matters to you and develop the tools to get there. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, clarify your goals, and create sustainable pathways toward emotional well-being. My role is to offer both structure and support—meeting you where you are, but never leaving you there.

I specialize in working with individuals navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, burnout, and self-worth. My practice also welcomes clients who are exploring healing through integrative or holistic approaches, including mindfulness and somatic awareness.

My Approach

  • We’ll uncover the internal motivation and values that fuel your growth, working collaboratively—not prescriptively—to spark change from within.

  • Together, we’ll examine the thoughts and beliefs that shape your emotions and behaviors, developing strategies that help you respond more effectively to life’s challenges.

  • I believe healing happens in both mind and body. I incorporate mindfulness, grounding exercises, and strengths-based techniques to help you reconnect to your inner wisdom.

If you’re ready to begin, I’ll meet you with empathy, curiosity, and a clear plan for growth. My goal is to help you build a life that feels intentional, balanced, and authentically yours.
